The Specialty Board takes charge in certifying qualified pulmonologists as Diplomate members of the Philippine College of Chest Physicians. It shall formulate and execute policies, rules and regulations governing certification, subject to the approval of the Board of Directors of the Philippine College of Chest Physicians.

Diplomate Certifying Examination Dates

Eligibility Requirements:

To be eligible, a candidate must submit the following not later than two (2) months prior to the scheduled date of examination.

NEW APPLICANT (for newly graduated Fellow-in-Training)

  1. Must be a member of the Philippine Medical Association.
  2. Certificate attesting to being a diplomate of good standing of the Philippine College of Physicians.
  3. Must be an associate member of the PCCP for at least one (1) year from the induction date and updated with membership dues.
  4. Certificate of completion of fellowship in a PCCP accredited pulmonary fellowship training program.
  5. Submit copy of completed research paper as required in the Standard and Requirements for Pulmonary and Critical Care Fellowship Program

Examination fee is P 5,000


NEW APPLICANT (for Associate Members of the PCCP)

  1. Certificate attesting to being a diplomate of good standing of the Philippine College of Physicians.
  2. Associate Members must be updated with membership dues.
  3. Certificate of completion of fellowship in a PCCP accredited pulmonary fellowship training program.

Examination fee is P 5,000


RE-TAKERS

  1. Certificate attesting to being a diplomate of good standing of the Philippine College of Physicians.
  2. Associate Members must be updated with membership dues.

Examination fee is P 3,000
