Announcement of By-Laws Referendum for 2016

Dear Colleague,

 

The Committee on Constitution and By-Laws, upon the approval of the Executive Board of the Philippine College of Chest Physicians, is presenting the following proposed Constitutional Amendments for information to the general membership. The proposals were also presented during the PCCP 19th Midyear Convention – Business Meeting on October 1, 2016 in Legazpi City.

 

If you have further comments on the proposal, we would appreciate if you can write to us on or before January 20, 2017.

 

Official vote of the constitutional referendum will be joint with the Election of Officers in March 2017 during the Annual Chest Convention.

Dear Colleagues:

 

This is to officially announce the call for nominees for the various awards of the College traditionally given during the Annual Chest Convention in March 2017. These awards are as follows:

  1. Most Outstanding Fellow
  2. Distinguished Public Servant
  3. Distinguished Academician
  4. Distinguished Researcher

 

The Committee is accepting one or more nominees for each award category from a PCCP member of good standing, training institutions, councils and chapters. All nominations are submitted with a letter stating why the candidate is being nominated and may, if desired, include comments on the nominee’s outstanding or exemplary accomplishments.

 

Nominees are requested to submit the following:

  • Signed nomination acceptance form
  • Curriculum vitae to include accomplishment in public service, research and academics
  • Photocopy of awards/citations/certifications received
  • Latest 2×2 black and white photograph

 

Please find the attached criteria/guideline to be used for the above categories. Deadline for submission of all requirements is on January 20, 2017 (Friday).
